In Pictures: Catholic Herald Carol Service 2019

The Catholic Herald held its inaugural carol service on December 4 in the neo-gothic splendour of St James’s, Spanish Place, in London.

Editor Luke Coppen and regular Herald contributors Peter Hitchens, Mary Kenny and Melissa Kite read from the Gospels of Luke and John, while the magnificent church choir sang pieces by Handel and Palestrina, as well as plenty of Christmas classics.

All proceeds from the carol service are being donated to two charities:

• Providence Row, which tackles the root causes of homelessness to help people get off and stay off the streets. For more information about Providence Row’s excellent work or to donate, please click here.
