The Catholic Herald’s weekly US edition, based in Washington, DC, is seeking a part-time sales representative to sell display advertising in our print magazine. The position may also include helping to sell the magazine to parishes and independent bookshops.
The suitable candidate will be someone who has a passion for sales and doesn’t mind making phone calls, sending emails, researching prospects, and thinking outside the box while acting as a friendly and effective brand ambassador.
Experience in advertising sales is preferred. Experience in or knowledge of the Catholic market is a plus but not required.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone to earn significant performance-based pay with a growing brand. The sales rep would receive regular pay plus commissions on what he or she sells.
The position is part-time and would be flexible in terms of scheduling. Candidates who live in the Washington area are preferred, but we will also consider those who work remotely.
