Following significant investment in Chaplaincy and an increase in Chaplaincy Department staffing, a new role has been created as Head of Chaplaincy (HoC). The HoC leads a team of resident Chaplaincy Assistants and works alongside the resident Priest Chaplain. The HoC also works as a Boarding Assistant.
Applicants must be practising Catholics. Applications are welcome from lay people, members of Religious Orders and Deacons. The successful candidate will be confident and articulate in discussing theological, moral and spiritual issues with young people. Excellent communication skills and the ability to devise and lead liturgies and prayer opportunities are essential. This is a support staff role but it may be possible to offer some work as a Teacher of Theology.
